Outline of Research at the Start

剣道には、生涯に渡りその実践を可能とする代表的な特性があり、高齢者であっても長期的な修練により培った身体技法や竹刀操作により、青年層の剣士と対等の稽古が可能となる。つまり経験とともに向上する技能が剣道には存在するものと考えられる。本研究では、50～55歳の優れた熟練者（8段受有者）が面技を得意とする大学生剣士（20～22歳）を相手に面技における同時打撃で打ち勝つためのノウハウを探る。動作解析とインタビュー（半構造型）の二つの方法を用いて熟練者の実践知を明らかにし、加齢による年齢差、体力差を補うための技能について検討する。
