Outline of Research at the Start	帝王切開による出生は将来の1型糖尿病、小児白血病、気管支喘息、肥満などの罹患リスクを高める。さらに動物実験では、帝王切開が運動活性、情緒・精神状態、認知機能などを悪化させることが報告されているが、わが国においていずれの先行研究でも医学の観点から得られた知見であり、帝王切開が幼児の体力・運動能力・メンタルヘルスに及ぼす影響は分かっていない。本研究では、①分娩方法の相違が幼児の体力・運動能力・メンタルヘルスにどのように影響するのかを明らかにすること、②帝王切開出生児において、体力・運動能力と上記疾患の罹患リスクに関連があるのかを解明することを目的とする。
