Outline of Research at the Start

Carbon emission reduction has become an important issue all over the world. Exist Building Energy Management System (BEMS) mainly focus on electricity cost, energy usage and thermal comfort, but carbon emission-oriented BEMS has seldom been studied. This project aims to reduce building carbon emission through optimized control of large-scale HVAC systems, while considering occupant’s preferences and requirements.
