Outline of Research at the Start

ロードキル（動物の交通事故死）情報は地域の生物多様性保全上重要な情報源となると同時に、多くの市民にとって普段は身近にいない野生動物と出会う機会になっている。市民による発見・報告を活かすことができれば、研究者のみでは不足する情報の拡充につながる。そこで本研究では、ロードキルを発見・報告する市民が地域にどれ程いて、どのような報告動機を有しているかをアンケート及び聞き取り調査から明らかにする。さらに、市民へのフィードバックを通して、報告の質と量を向上させるための方策を提案する。以上から、市民科学の活用による生物多様性保全を推進し、ネイチャーポジティブ社会実現を支援する。
