Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では西洋近代的な進歩史観に基づいた「ユニ（単一の）バース」の一元的開発ではなく、「プルリ（複数の）バース」＝多元的世界観をもとにした地域の存在のあり方に着目し、インド、ラダック地方の独自の自然観や世界観に基づいた地域づくりのあり方を検証する。また、一方でラダックでは一元的な開発の勢いが強まっていることから、住民同士がラダックの自然観、世界観をともに捉えなおすワークショップを開催し、プルリバース論が現実的な地域づくり論・地域再興論として現代の住民に受け入れられるのかを分析して、プルリバース論の地域づくり論としての可能性と有効性を検証することを目的とする。
