Outline of Research at the Start

2011年に始まったアラブ諸国における民主化運動によって、宗教と政治の連携がアラブ・イスラーム世界の各地で見られるようになった。しかし、その後多くの国では民主化が後退し、イスラーム主義も停滞が指摘されている。そのような状況下で、イスラーム思想の観点からみた自由・善・公正などの概念に基づいて、国家の役割を問い直す新たなイスラーム政治哲学の潮流が生まれつつある。本研究は、この新しいイスラーム政治哲学の内実や提言を分析し、近現代アラブ・イスラーム思想史の文脈に適切に位置づける。2010～20年代のアラブ世界における宗教・政治・思想の動態的な関係の解明につなげ、その見取り図と展望を示すことをめざす。
