Outline of Research at the Start

気候変動が深刻化し、観光分野においても脱炭素を実現した持続可能なシステムへの変革が求められる。18世紀以降にツーリズムはその規模を拡大してきたが、近年にはCO２量や地域社会の観光への依存を懸念し、欧州を中心に、脱ツーリズムと解釈可能な展開が生じている。本研究は特にフランス山岳地域を事例に、人々が環境変化を危惧してフライトシェイムやマイクロツーリズムを実践する姿、観光目的地が計画的に観光への依存度を下げようとする姿を捉えようとする。それらを持続可能な社会システムを実現するための中長期的なトランフォーメーションにおけるニッチ・イノベーションと位置付けて分析する。
