Outline of Research at the Start

古新聞のAI-OCRテキストデータに対する、DNA配列アセンブリアプローチを応用させたエラー訂正法の開発と多変量時系列解析を用いたトピック予測の精度向上に取り組む。本研究において開発されるテキストデータのエラー訂正手法は、新聞に限らず文学の分野におけるあらゆる古文書のテキストデータ化において応用が可能であり、今後の古文書保管に際して避けられない経年劣化への対策にもなる点が挙げられる。また本研究で取り組む精度改善された多変量時系列解析は古新聞のテキストデータのみならずあらゆる分野のデータに適用が可能である。
