Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では、日本・韓国の「特殊語」（被差別集団のことば）を研究対象とし、主に①国家・地方政府の言語政策との関係、②語彙の採取と精神文化的含意の分析、③「特殊語」をめぐる社会思想について、比較的かつ通史的な研究を行う。それにより「特殊語」の歴史的、社会的価値・文脈を相互参照し、少数言語、言語継承、言語権などの議論に新たな視点をもたらすことを期する。言語政策学、社会言語学、言語思想史の領域で従来過小評価されてきた課題に光を当て、批判的でありながら、より包摂的な言語学の進展に寄与したい。
