Outline of Research at the Start	イズムには、人間の信念や世界の捉え方を示す認識論的な特徴と、ある状態を表している存在論的な特徴、そして両者を結びつけようとする因果論的な特徴がある。国際関係論におけるイズムは、研究者そして政策決定者の認識論と因果論に関わってくる。すなわち世界を変革しようとする意志と、変革できる力を持っている。そこから導き出されるのは、イズムの存在論もまた、時代とともに変化する可能性である。申請者はこのような観点から、イズムについての哲学的な考察をおこない、その研究成果を世界に発信する。
