Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は，電動モビリティデバイス（以下、PMD）を屋内で安全に使用し，肢体不自由児の環境に対する探索行動を引き出すことを明らかにする目的がある。また，環境を自由に探索する子供の姿を通して，特別支援学校の教師や養育者が子供の育ちを実感するといった「支援者・家族支援の側面」についても検討する。研究の成果は，国内外の学術論文等で発信することに加えて，重度の障害がある子供達や家族，そして教育現場に対して研究成果を届けることを意識したい。PMD使用が子供達の日常生活・学校生活に変革をもたらし得る選択肢として理解される枠組みを構築していく。
