Outline of Research at the Start	近年の材料研究における問題のひとつは，不規則材料中の特徴構造を抽出する手段が不十分な点にあると考えております。この問題解決のために，より精度の高い不規則構造の観測技術と構造モデリングの確立が必要とされておりますが，既存の実験手法だけでは原理的限界が見えており，要求に答えることは難しい情況です。そこで本研究では，中性子の持つスピン自由度を利用した実験装置の開発を行い，構造解析の手法の確立を目指します。偏極中性子実験に目途が立てば，世界的にもユニークな装置となり，材料・磁性研究への波及効果が見込めます。
