Outline of Research at the Start

静電気とは物体が帯電している状態または帯電している電気(電荷)そのもののことをいう。申請者は、近年「静電気により強く発光する希土類錯体」を見出している(第34回配位化合物の光化学討論会(P-20))。これは分子性化合物で初めて静電気に応答して発光を示した例となる。本研究では、その錯体設計の中に長寿命励起状態を示す分子を組み込むことにより、静電気により光エネルギーを蓄えることができるシステムを構築する。
