Outline of Research at the Start

植物の生理活性を調節するホルモンの機能の理解には、生合成と代謝の仕組みの解明が不可欠であり、それらの知見は植物機能の人為的制御や応用に援用できる。植物特有の免疫応答である全身獲得抵抗性では、感染シグナルを全身に伝えるN-ヒドロキシピペコリン酸が重要な役割を担う。その代謝（配糖化）を担う酵素が報告されたものの我々はそれが誤りだと気づいた。そこで本研究では真の酵素を同定し、科学的知見の修正に挑む。
