Outline of Research at the Start	本研究は「哺乳類の発生過程で一過性に出現・機能する中腎が、近傍の性腺や生殖管に働きかけ、子宮の形態形成に寄与する」という仮説を検証する。これまでにウシを用いて同定した子宮奇形の原因遺伝子候補を中心に、発現量・局在解析と、器官培養系による生殖管や性腺への作用の解析を行う。子宮形態が異なるウシ、ヤギ、ラットの胎子を用い、比較動物学的観点も重視して研究を進める。
