Outline of Research at the Start

ゲノム編集による遺伝子治療を実現するためにアデノ随伴ウイルス(AAV)に搭載可能な塩基編集ツール開発を目的とし、独自に開発したDMSに基づくタンパク質機能改変プラットフォームにて小型Cas9dの塩基編集の高機能化に取り組む。また開発したツールに関しては網膜疾患モデルマウスに対してAAVの網膜下投与による遺伝子送達にてPoC取得をめざす。
