Outline of Research at the Start	本研究は、研究代表者らが発見した初めての排出型ビタミンCトランスポーターの輸送特性・生理的役割に関する知見を礎として、ビタミンCの全身動態の制御メカニズムと、ビタミンCの有する新規生理機能を解明することに挑戦する2年計画である。研究期間内に「脳内へのビタミンC供給が顕著に低下する、ビタミンC合成不全・Glut12 KOマウスを用いたGLUT12の生理的役割の解明」および「SLCトランスポーターを対象とした、新規ビタミンCトランスポーターの探索」を並行して実施する。
