Outline of Research at the Start

本研究課題では肺線維症を標的疾患とし、ゲノムワイド関連解析（GWAS）データから肺線維症の発症リスクとなる一塩基多型（SNP）に着目し、そのSNPによって誘導される肺のマクロファージのread-through分子（隣接する2つの遺伝子が融合して転写されることで生み出される分子）の機能を網羅的に解析することで、肺線維症の発症メカニズムを明らかにすることを目的に研究を行う。
