Outline of Research at the Start

環状RNA（circRNA）の機能は不明な点が多いが、miRNAやRNA結合タンパク質をスポンジのように吸着することで遺伝子制御因子として機能することが示唆されている。しかしながら、circRNAと炎症応答制御機構との関連の詳細は明らかになっていない。本研究では、炎症誘導時に発現が変動するcircRNAを網羅的に解析し、それらのノックダウンや過剰発現を通して炎症制御における役割を明らかにしていく。
