Outline of Research at the Start

新生児壊死性腸炎（NEC）、小児期早期発症炎症性腸疾患（VEOIBD）、新生児・乳児食物蛋白誘発胃腸症（non-IgE-GIFA）などの発症や重症化の原因には、外来微生物や腸内共生細菌の侵入を防ぐ腸管のバリア機能の破綻が一因であると考えられる。
そこで本研究では、これら疾患の発症メカニズムの解明を目的として、乳幼児腸疾患マウスモデルの新たな構築と乳幼児期における腸管神経・免疫系の解析を通じて、生体内ネットワークの形成と乳幼児期の粘膜バリア機能の形成機序、並びに疾患発症に至る分子細胞メカニズムを明らかにする。
