Outline of Research at the Start	各組織にはその主要な機能を担う実質細胞に加えて、間質に多様な細胞が存在する。これらの細胞は常にコミュニーケーションすることにより、組織の恒常性を維持し、機能させていると考えられるが、多種類の細胞がどのようにコミュニケーションしているかはよく分かっていない。本研究では特に心臓組織に着目して、心臓組織を構成する多種類の細胞がどのように協調し、心臓組織の機能を維持しているのかを明らかにすることを目的にする。
