Outline of Research at the Start	本研究は、非翻訳領域から異常に発現する未知タンパク質が自己炎症疾患の原因となるという仮説に根拠を提供することを目的とする。本研究により、既存のドグマでは病態形成の説明が難しい進行性の神経変性疾患や病態不明の炎症疾患の未解明な疾患メカニズムの解明に繋がる可能性を秘める。この目的と挑戦的意義を達成するため、まず第一に、①通常は発現しない非翻訳領域から発現するタンパク質があるということを証明し、次に、②非翻訳領域から異常発現するタンパク質による自己炎症病態が存在するということを証明する。最後に、③非翻訳領域からの異常タンパク質発現の分子メカニズムに基づいた疾患の治療法を確立する。
