Outline of Research at the Start	染色体外DNAと呼ばれる環状のDNAは細胞分裂の過程でランダムに分配され、癌細胞の不均一性の原因となり、薬剤耐性の獲得や癌悪性化に寄与すると考えられるが、詳細なメカニズムは不明である。本研究では、染色体外DNAによる複雑な相互作用やエピゲノム状態を詳細に解析し、染色体外DNA上のがん悪性化に寄与する領域とその制御異常を解明すると共にドライバー因子を同定し、新たなエピジェネティック発癌分子機構の解明と新規治療戦略基盤の構築に挑戦する。
