Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では、唾液腺癌に対して空間的グライコミクス解析を実施することで、癌組織を構成する細胞の糖鎖情報と組織学的位置情報を結びつけた「唾液腺癌糖鎖アトラス」を創出することを目的としている。この「唾液腺癌糖鎖アトラス」を応用することで、唾液腺癌が幹細胞様性質を維持する分子機構、癌幹細胞特異的マーカーの同定、癌幹細胞の分化・細胞死を誘導できるターゲット分子の探索が可能となると考えられる。
