Outline of Research at the Start	本研究では、胎児期低栄養が胎児の動脈DNAメチル化与える影響とその生物学的意義を明らかにすることを目的とする。出生コホート調査により妊娠中の母体及び出生時の児の情報を取得し、出産時に得られた臍帯動脈を用いて胎児期低栄養と臍帯動脈DNAメチル化との関連を明らかにする。さらに関連を認めた領域のDNAメチル化が細胞機能に与える影響についても検討する。これにより、胎児期環境因子による動脈硬化症発症メカニズムを疫学的研究と分子生物学研究を統合することにより解明することを目指す。
