Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、生体内耐久性をもつ繊維状物質に対する感受性の性差とその仕組みを明らかにするとともに、性差の感受性に関わるバイオマーカー候補を選び出し、確立することを目的とする。本研究は化学物質のリスク評価において性差をどのように考慮するべきかという指針の科学的根拠を提出するととともに、生体内耐久性をもつ繊維状物質特異的な性差のメカニズムの解明とバイオマーカーの確立に資する。研究ではNrf2活性化の性差がインフラマソーム誘導の性差を引き起こすという仮説に基づき、動物と細胞を用いた実験的研究を行う。
