Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では、早期に軽度認知機能障害を把握できる、嗅覚機能の測定によるスクリーニングツールを用いて、侵襲性や抵抗感が少ない形での認知機能検査を多様な日常場面で実施する。これにより嗅覚ツールを使用した方策の早期のポピュレーションアプローチ効果を検証し、真にニーズを持つ対象者層の「早期発見」、その後の「早期対応」に関する支援モデルの構築を行う。また、対象者の身体・社会活動、疾病や栄養状態等をあわせて嗅覚低下レベルや香りの種類との関連を縦断的に検討し、嗅覚ツールのさらなる開発へつなぐ。
