Outline of Research at the Start

本邦において、褥瘡の発生は低率に抑えられているが、一度褥瘡が治癒しても再発する方が高率であり、褥瘡再発予防が重要である。一方、褥瘡再発者の治癒部の細菌叢は乱れた状態であり、皮膚組織にダメージを与える菌が多く存在することが明らかとなっている。そこで申請者らは、自らが持つ正常皮膚の細菌叢を「コピー」し、褥瘡治癒部に「ペースト」することで正常化させる「自己皮膚細菌叢コピー＆ペーストドレッシング材」の着想に至り、その開発に着手する。本研究が完成した場合、褥瘡の再発予防に加え、看護師が褥瘡再発に悩む機会が減少し、さらには細菌叢が関与する他の疾患へも応用できる可能性がある。
