Outline of Research at the Start	本研究では水の味を担う神経細胞（水味ニューロン）が構築する神経ネットワークを末梢から脳への回路のレベルで解明し、水のおいしさを形成するための脳内機構を解き明かすために実施するものである。そのために、水味の感知を担う末梢器官の特定、活動依存性標識を用いた水味ニューロンの遺伝学的な同定、疑似的な水味の創出技術の開発、の３項目を実施する。
