Outline of Research at the Start	本研究では，これまで新型コロナウイルス感染症（COVID-19）等に対して適用実績のある，処理区域内のすべての人から排出される下水が集積される下水処理場で病原微生物を測定することで，その地域における感染症の真の流行状況を把握する「下水疫学調査」を，デング熱等の蚊媒介感染症に適用することを目指し，蚊媒介ウイルスを高感度で検出する検出技術を開発する。
