Outline of Research at the Start	本研究は、然るべき観光のあり方を問う「観光倫理学（tourism ethics）」研究の一環として、以下の二つを目的とするものである。（1）この分野における基礎文献の翻訳・紹介を通して、観光倫理学という学問の基本的特徴を明らかにする。（2）アリストテレスを中心とした徳倫理学についての「文献研究」と現代社会における観光についての「事例研究」を組み合わせることにより、理論と応用の両側面から、観光倫理学における徳倫理学的アプローチの有効性を検証する。
