人は人生において様々なマッチの機会を持つ。保育園への児童割り当ては一つのマッチの機会である。配分とは、児童を保育園に割り当てる組み合わせを表す。最もシンプルなマッチング問題において配分が実現可能であるとは、各園の割り当て児童数がその園の定員以下である状態を指す。実現可能な配分は各園の持つ定員以外に、倫理・法律など、多様な制約により限定されている。このような市場の多くは、既存研究の枠組みを用いて分析ができない。本研究は、あらゆる制約を考慮できるマッチング問題を定式化し、制約を加味した上での配分の持つ望ましさを定め、 望ましい配分を与える具体的な制度を明らかにすることで、現実社会の改善を促す。
