Outline of Research at the Start	本研究の目的は、多様化する移民の住まいに着目し、職業経歴と居住状況の関連、住宅経歴と社会統合の関連を、ジェンダーの視点から明らかにすることである。具体的には（1）結婚や出産などを経験した移民女性の階層的地位の変動と居住状況との間にどのような関連があるのか、（2）移民のホスト社会への統合と住宅経歴の関連は男女で異なるのか、の2つの研究課題に取り組む。そのために、独自のWeb調査を実施し、住宅の名義人や住宅ローンの契約内容など、移民を対象とした従来の社会調査や公的統計では把握されてこなかった移民の居住状況を詳細に捉えることで、移民の移住先社会への編入過程における住宅の役割について検討する。
