Outline of Research at the Start

英語で議論するという第二言語インタラクション能力の発達について、何がどのように発達するか、そのプロセスは未知である。そこで本研究は縦断的事例研究として、「専門内容を英語で議論し合う」という第二言語インタラクション能力の発達プロセスを明らかにする。

事例とする焦点参加者は、英語で専門科目を学び、議論しあうゼミ授業を通して能力を発達させた学習者である。データは2年半におよぶ包括的データセットであり、グループディスカッション時の発話データ、ログ、インタビュー、小テスト、フィールドノーツである。第二言語インタラクション能力の記述には、Galaczi & Taylor (2018)の枠組みを使う。
