公立学校での在籍数が増加する移民の子どもたちに対し，教科教育での対応についての教科教育学における議論は不足している。本研究は，複数の人間により社会的関係が形成され相互作用が生じる教室という場において，社会科授業が行われる際，移民の子どもたちの存在が，その場にいる日本人の子どもたちや教室全体に対し，どのような影響があるのかという相互作用を明らかにすることを目的にする。その方法として，社会科授業における移民の子どもたちと日本人の子どもたちとの相互作用を分析するために，談話分析の手法を取り入れる。これにより，言語や文化が異なる子どもたちが共に学び学習効果を高める社会科授業の実現に近づく。
