Outline of Research at the Start

スーパーエンハンサーRNAは、複数の重要遺伝子の転写制御を行えるスーパーエンハンサーのループ構造を安定化させるノンコーディングRNAである。今回、このスーパーエンハンサーRNAにおけるRNA編集を解析する。RNA編集とはRNAレベルの塩基置換現象で、近年癌組織におけるRNA編集が癌促進的に作用することが明らかとなっている。この現象が、ノンコーディングRNAの一種であるスーパーエンハンサーRNAにおいても生じているとの仮説の元、研究を行うこととした。スーパーエンハンサーに対するRNAシークエンスを行い、RNA編集サイトを明らかにし、エンハンサーの機能に及ぼす影響を解析する。
