Outline of Research at the Start

Acute myeloid leukemia(AML)は、骨髄系の幼若な腫瘍細胞が増殖する腫瘍である。化学療法を含む治療により約60%は寛解に至るが、その後約40%は再発することが知られており、新たな治療法の開発が求められている。本研究では、空間トランスクリプトーム解析や多重免疫染色の手法を用いて、AMLにおける腫瘍-間質細胞の相互作用を空間的かつ網羅的に解析し、再発例・寛解例を比較することにより、その根幹をなす分子機構を明らかにすると共に、新たな治療標的の同定を試みる。
