Outline of Research at the Start

IgG4関連疾患（IgG4-RD）は、高IgG4血症や罹患臓器への著明なIgG4陽性形質細胞浸潤を特徴とする全身性の疾患であるが、IgG4の臨床的意義は不明である。その要因の１つは、IgG4-RDの病理所見に類似する対照疾患がほとんど存在しないことである。最近われわれはIgG4-RDと同様な胚中心形成や罹患臓器の腫大・線維化を示す慢性硬化性唾液腺炎（mimicker）の2症例を経験した。そこで本研究では、IgG4へのクラススイッチに着目し、IgG4-RDとmimickerの唾液腺組織を比較して、IgG4へのクラススイッチ機構を解明することを目指す。
