免疫チェックポイント阻害薬は、がんの再発転移症例や切除不能症例に対し効果を得ているが、全身投与による重篤な免疫関連有害事象による治療継続困難症例も多い。本研究ではPD-L1発現量を調整したマウス由来口腔扁平上皮癌モデルを用い、抗PD-L1/CTLA-4抗体薬の低用量局所投与と全身投与の抗腫瘍効果および遺伝子発現を比較し、また臓器へのT細胞浸潤で比較評価を行う。最終的に、口腔癌に対し超選択的動注カテーテルより、抗PD-L1/CTLA-4抗体薬の2剤を、腫瘍部へ直接少量投与することで、高い抗腫瘍効果、全身投与と比較したirAEの軽減、および医療費の削減を目指した基礎的研究成果を得たいと考えている。
