Outline of Research at the Start

This is a prospective nationwide birth cohort study implemented in Sri Lanka from August 2022 to April 2024, with 2000 maternal and neonatal units. The study expects to provide evidence-based data to devise low birth weight preventive strategies in the Sri Lankan context.
