Outline of Research at the Start |
(1) Feasibility study of realizing RILD by employing the BNS device (04/2024-10/2024); (2) Propose novel RILD devices and their optimal design and robustness verification (11/2024-04/2025); (3) Nonlinear MDOF building equipped with RILD (05/2025-10/2025); (a) Proposing an optimal design method for the RILD damping systems considering the nonlinearities. (b) Investigate the performance of the RILD-based devices against fling-step near-fault ground motions. (4) Application of RILD on adjacent structures and bullet train systems and developing EH technology (11/2025-03/2026).
