Outline of Research at the Start

The aim of this study is to investigate the chemical exchange between blood vessels and neural cells by developing a glymphatic system on microfluidic chips. We will examine the exchange of molecules between artificial vessels, a mixture of neural cells, and hydrogels that mimic the brain physical properties. Our observations will involve the transport of molecules in this system, which will be analyzed through microscopy and biochemical assays.
