Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では、RbMnFe(CN)6などのFe系分子結晶に中赤外光を照射し、発生するフォノンによって駆動される新しいタイプの構造相転移現象のメカニズム解明を行う。このとき、我々が開発している超高速時間分解電子線回折装置を用いて、駆動された原子・分子の運動を直接的に観測し、得られた結果を光学ポンプ・プローブ実験の結果と合わせることで、非線形フォノニクスと呼ばれる新しい物理現象への展開を狙う。
