重水素標識は医薬化学や材料化学に新たな価値を生み出しており、重水素標識によって分子触媒の機能を改変する研究は黎明期にある。本研究では、相間移動型触媒と有機分子光触媒という二つの低分子触媒系において、分子触媒を重水素標識することによってどのように触媒機能が影響を受けるのかを明らかにする。本研究を通して、位置特異的な重水素標識によって分子機能を制御するための学術的知見を獲得し、触媒量の低減をはじめとした産業的に価値ある方法論の可能性を探る。
