超分子重合により、様々な刺激応答型燐光材料を設計・調製する。分子構造、会合構造と刺激応答性燐光の関係を明らかにし、刺激応答性燐光材料の設計に理論的指針を与える。カラフルなディスプレイ、多重情報暗号化、インテリジェントセンシング、バイオイメージングなど、様々な分野への応用を、デバイスの作製を通して探求する。
