新規抗生物質ライソシンEのバイオフィルムを形成した黄色ブドウ球菌に対する効果を本研究では検証する。臨床分離株に対する効果、及び、マウスのカテーテル感染モデルにおける治療効果について検討を実施する。さらに、ライソシンEによるバイオフィルムの破壊過程についてもあきらかにする。これらの研究計画の遂行によって、難治性黄色ブドウ球菌感染症に対するライソシンEの応用性をあきらかにする。
