Elevated CO2 can accelerate senescence. Oxidative stress, led by the overproduction of reactive oxygen species (ROS), is strongly associated with aging. This study aims to elucidate the role of ROS scavengers (GSH/GSSG) in plants supplied with ammonia-N and nitrate-N under different CO2 conditions.
