| Outline of Research at the Start |
ダークバブル模型は一種のブレーンワールド模型であるが、通常のブレーンワールド模型とは異なるグラビトンのブレーンへの閉じ込めメカニズムを採用している。この新しい可能性は弦理論から導かれるモデルと宇宙論的観測との結びつきを調べることが目標となる。研究の方向性としては、ダークバブル上の素粒子物理学の基本的な相互作用の研究と、超ひも理論からのダークバブルのトップダウン構築（すなわち埋め込み）の理解などが挙げられる。それらに比べて、重力の現象論的に特徴的な振る舞いが現れないかを調べ、観測的制限との関係を明らかにする。
