| Outline of Research at the Start |
金属錯体ケージ分子（MOCs）の「共有結合ステープリング」法を開発し、構造的な堅牢性を向上させることで、幅広い応用が可能な新たな多孔性分子材料を創出する。この方法では、配位結合サイトを持つMOCsに有機分子（ステープル）を反応させて複数の有機分子を共有結合により連結し、化学的に安定した構造を合成する。これまでの合成経路では得られなかった新しい多孔性有機ケージ（POC）を形成することを目指す。
