Outline of Research at the Start

植物が近縁種の花粉を受粉すると，雑種形成や同種花粉の花粉管伸長が阻害されることがある。よって，近縁種と同所的に生育する集団の個体は，異種花粉の負の作用を緩和する機構（異種花粉耐性）を持つと予想される。本研究では多年草のカタバミ，及び近縁外来種オッタチカタバミを対象に，植物の異種花粉耐性とその進化のメカニズムの解明を目指す。
